Excursion in crete, Heraklion, Rethymnon
Fodele, Drosia, Axos Sfentoni Cave & Anogia
Breakfast and drive to west to visit the village Fodele the born place of the Dominikos Theotokopoulos known El Greco (1541- 1614) the famous painter short stay there and then continue and arrive to the village Drosia short stay there and then continue to the village Axos. We will visit the a sculpture museum there and after walking through the village from one side to the other we will admire the beautiful view of the upper part of Mylopotamos. After 3 Km away is our next visit to the Cave Sfentoni. An impressive Cave full of Stalactites and Stalagmites. We return to Axos to have lunch (free lunc or arrangement) and on the way back to our hotel we will make a stop to Anogia before return to our hotel.
