Sitia Vai Toplou

Today we will visit Ierapetra city the most South city of Europe favored both by position and by nature, Ierapetra has always been an important centre of the island. It has grown into the largest town in south Crete and a major tourist destination. We will stop here for a coffee or for some pictures and then continue to the east and arrive at Sitia 72 km  from Agios Nikolaos. Sitia was built by Venetians on the west side of a magnificent bay. We  continue east and arrive to Toplou Monastery founded in 15^th century famous for its icons. After that we will arrive at Vai a tropical landscape with unique beauty  as there are 5000 palm-trees and one of the most beautiful beaches with crystal clean waters. Time for swimming and then return to our hotel.
