Koumos, Xrysopigi Monastery, Akrotiri & Chania

08:30 we will start our excursion to Chania. Our first stop will be at Koumos near Almirida village, a natural stone collection from Creta mountains very interesting and highly recommended, then continue to Chrisopigi Monastery 3 km south of Chania. This is a monastery built in 16th century destroyed several times in the past. Since 1976 it is a monastery for women only. We can see very old icons there. Continue to Akrotiri of Chania we can have a nice view from Chania and the Tombs of Venizelos. Next will be our visit at Chania city for free lunch or shopping and later return to our hotel.
